Now if there is any city in the United States that supports Polish culture and tradition more than any other, it is Chicago. It just so happens to be a fact that there are more Polish people (origins of Poland) that live in Chicago than in Warsaw, which is Poland’s capital city. Over here at Flapjack Records, we loves us some steaming hot smorgasbord, especially when it’s authentic. That is why we are so happy to have Michael R Jr. on board. This Poland native is about to pound some pierogi with his hot plate of Polish cuisine “The Jackin’ Bandit EP”.
The great thing about a smorgasbord is that it keeps on keeping on till you’ve gotten more than your fill. “House Music Sounds Good” is one of those items that keep landing on your plate every time you go back for more. This is the filling that you will be spilling all over your set. Watch out for the bass line as it might make you dribble on your dinner jacket.
“Ain’t No Sunshine” is how you may be feeling after you’ve eaten a giant plate of those pierogis. The tune just finds its way onto your fork even when you aren’t conscious of it. It’s like the shovel of destiny guiding you through the wonderful life of phatness.
Being a “Whisky Drinker” will promote good health and bad decision making at this smorgasbord, but imake for a great party. This is a tough jam that just breaks through any tension in the room and gives you the wits of a super hero on the decks.
If you happen to have worn your smoking jacket to the smorgasbord, you are in luck. “Smoke It” adds the finishing touch to “The Jackin’ Bandit EP”. The first step outside to light up is kind of like leaving a lover. You have to put something in your mouth to replace the fork….or possibly keep a pocket full of borscht.
What Flapjack has in store for everyone is some fantastically fun, upbeat, tasteful house music stacked high on a plate of
happiness. Remember that warm feeling of waking up in the morning and coming down to the kitchen where mom had a delicious plate of flapjacks just waiting for you? Do you remember how great they were? Here at Flapjack Records we do em up better than your momma made em....more
